The seven sectors
Grandvalira's official website divides the area into seven sectors: Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, Encamp and Peretol. The summits of several sectors exceed 2,500 m.
| Sector | Good to know |
|---|---|
| Pas de la Casa | On the French border, the resort easiest to reach from France. |
| Grau Roig | Intermediate sector between Pas de la Casa and Soldeu. |
| Soldeu · El Tarter | Resort villages in the Canillo valley, linked on the slopes. |
| Canillo · Encamp | Access from the valley-floor villages. |
| Peretol | Open since the 2019-20 season. Starts at 1,960 m at Bordes d'Envalira, with the Pla de les Pedres chairlift up to Solanelles (2,500 m) in the Encamp sector. |
Handle the figures with care. The official pages do not all give the same number of slopes (138, 140 or 142 depending on the page). We use “about 140 slopes” and 74 lifts, the Grandvalira Resorts figures.
Lift pass and ski area
A pass valid for two or more consecutive days also gives access to Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal, according to the official day-pass page. The Andorra Pass season pass covers all three areas, up to 308 km. Details on our lift passes page.
Skiing after dark
Grandvalira offers a night skiing pass, listed at €28.50 (indicative price seen on 17 October 2026, which may change during the season).
